Service Agreement
Welcome to DMV Cleaning! Whether we have been serving you for some time now or we are just meeting for the first time, we are happy to be working with you! We take pride in our client relationships and know working in your home or business is a privilege.
INFORMATION SHEET
DMV Cleaning aims to be flexible, understanding, accommodating, and we greatly appreciate the same from you. To make our relationship simpler and avoid any surprises going forward, we have created this information sheet. Please refer to it for any information, or just contact us, we are always just a phone call or text away to discuss any concerns.
BONDING and INSURANCE
All employees at DMV Cleaning are bonded with Western Surety Bonds and insured with Hiscox. All employees also have passed their criminal background checks and drug screening.
PRODUCTS and EQUIPMENT
DMV Cleaning will provide all products and equipment (solutions, rags, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.) unless otherwise requested. The one thing we do request is toilet brushes. For sanitary reasons, we do not carry these in between households. We dust and clean all hard surfaces and items on them, but we DO NOT CLEAN ELECTRONICS such as televisions and computer screens. Scrubbing carpets/ upholstery and laundering are restricted from our insurance, so we cannot provide those services. Washing dishes are typically not included in our cleanings, but can be added at an additional charge.
CLEANING PRODUCTS
The products we use are from Seventh Generation, the products are all natural,
non-toxic and eco-friendly. They are safe for elders, children and pets. None of their cleaning products contain chlorine bleach, ammonia, or formaldehyde. Seventh Generation formulas contain naturally derived ingredients like thyme oil, enzymes, Melaleuca Oil, carnauba wax, and citric acid. Therefore you get the best of both worlds: the power of effective cleaning, stain-lifting, deodorizing, and disinfecting without the danger of harsh chemicals.
**For hard areas to clean, we do use commercial grade cleaners. Not all are natural and eco-friendly. If you do not prefer us to use these, please let us know.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS
Any obvious body fluids from both humans and animals will be strictly avoided. Areas with pest infestations including mice will be avoided. If unsanitary conditions or items are encountered, we reserve the right to immediately vacate the premises and request full payment.
OUR CLEANERS:
Our employees are direct hires, all hold valid work authorization and have gone through a strict interview process to assure the safety of our customers. We do not work with undocumented workers, as a company we provide a benefit package and generous compensation to our staff so they can continue to be happy while providing you with the best service.
Our cleaners are known to have good references, and are honest and reliable. You will be assigned a team that will be dedicated to your recurring cleanings. If you prefer a particular cleaner, we will do our best to accommodate that request. Though this request may not be able to be fulfilled each and every cleaning due to situations such as illness or vacation days.
SCHEDULE:
Your scheduled time and day of the week is bordered by many appointments. Please help us to be consistent by committing to the day and time we have scheduled for you. We will try, but may not be able to immediately accommodate changes.
PICTURES:
Before and After pictures will be taken at ALL locations for any services. These will be printed and put in customer files, for insurance purposes. We may use some pictures on social media accounts and websites, for promotional reasons. We will ALWAYS ask for your permission prior to doing so.
CHARGES and PAYMENTS:
Price is discussed between DMV Cleaning and customer prior to cleaning services. During the booking process you will be asked to provide your payment details and put your card on file to secure your spot. Payment is processed after your cleaning is completed.
CANCELLATIONS:
You may cancel or reschedule your service up to 24 hours before your appointment to avoid the 20% penalty. To cancel our services completely, we would appreciate a 2 weeks’ notice.
REFUNDS:
DMV Cleaning provides NO REFUNDS. If you are not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean (within a 3-day window).
PREPARING FOR OUR CLEANING:
We straighten up and make your bed.
Light organizing included (picking up items that are in our way), if your home needs specific decluttering and organizing please select the organization add-on.
We ALWAYS recommend a Deep Cleaning for the first visit in order to get your home prepared for ongoing maintenance.
We would greatly appreciate all trash to be thrown out and laundry to be picked up, and dishes to be washed before our arrival unless included in your cleaning. We empty any waste baskets and take out any trash when we leave.
WHAT WE WON’T DO:
– Lifting and moving heavy furniture
– Reaching heights only within our reach
– Clean the front of TVs, Computers, and Other electronics (we dust them)
– Cleaning bio-hazardous substances (feces, blood, etc)
– Cleaning infested properties (rodents, bugs, etc)
– Move appliances connected to water or gas
– Service clients that are not kind to our staff
